He reaches forward with his mind to see whatever deep intellectual thoughts Yosuke's got swimming around in his mind-hole.] Sorry, bro.

He's got a clear head after a decent morning night's sleep, plans to go hang out with a girl who has yet to inflict any kind of violence on him, and plenty of mental images involving clothes that, admittedly, she probably won't be wearing in this spring weather (or ever)... What more could a guy ask for?

His spirits certainly aren't dampened by the sight of that one kid he's encountered around the hall before - the dude might have some funky taste in eyewear, but Yosuke will happily take that over the sight of, say, a certain somebody's ill-fitting suit. With a cheerful smile, he raises a hand to wave -

[He can't say anything about what he's doing, and he's given his word. Still, Souji can't just pretend that everything is going to go swimmingly if his friends ever found out. He doesn't want to lie to anyone, especially not to the person who he trusts the most. So after a long, internal debate, he decides to reach out to him, perhaps in an attempt to quell out fires before they start...but more importantly, not ruin his friendship in the process.]

Oh, it's just you. You mean where everyone's getting riled up about the criminal they just caught, right? [He starts to run a hand through his hair. Should Kanji even be looking at something like that?] Well, I guess you do have a bracelet... They're not mad at you or anything, if that's why you're worrying.
